Not 100 sure about the evo

Just when i am about to close a deal on an evo, i begin to have 2nd thoughts. There is not one at the dealership right now so i cant test drive, and i started thinking about going with a 350 again for the looks and the lower payment. I am also afraid coming from a celica gt to an evo, that i will be tempted to get in trouble with my car. How big of a mistake would it be to go with a 350??? Thanks

Well, the looks of a 350z are definitely nothing special. Without a spoiler, they look weird. The G35 coupe is the one that looks nice. Also, your payment wouldn't be much less with the 350z (if at all), so that shouldn't be an issue.

The 350 is a good car, but it will be a mistake if you want a car that is actually fast, that has traction, or that can be driven in all weather conditions. At the same time, though, these superior Evo features could very easily get you in trouble. A Celica GT is like child's play to what you'd experience in an Evo...

drive them both. i drove the 350z, it felt heavy to me and kinda tight inside, evo felt like a go kart and lot more room. i pretty much drove all comparable cars before buying the evo as iused to work for car dealership

The 350 looks better to the untrained eye. However, anyone who knows just how much better the evo truly performs, sees it in a different light. Although , performance or not, the G35 does truly look better than the evo. But still go for evo.

I will say however, that coming from a celica gt you would probably be tempted to get in trouble if you were driving a golf cart.

thats good.

350z isnt bad at all. if you can get the track package.

if your asking how big of a mistake it would be...i'd wait til im sure. why dont you post in your local forums, might be able to hitch a ride. although i'd find a dealer that will let you drive one.

when it comes down to handling and performance the 350z just does not compare with the evo...and if it comes down to looks, well thats a subjective opinion because I prefer the look of my evo over a 350z any day..

I wasn't too sure about the evo too after i test drove the new 05 gto, and it was infact a few thousand cheaper then the evo. After the test drive in the gto i went to the mitsu dealer to test drive an 8 and compare them, no question the evo is the right car to get if you want a real sports car.

I have driven both cars and I choose the evo over the 350. I have had my car for over a year and not once have I regreted my choice. the evo is faster, handles better, breaks better, and you also get a car with four doors. the evo is a much more practical car than the 350.
