How is an exhaust supposed to be that pretty when it sits under the car? How long will a pretty polished exhaust stay shiny and "pretty" under a DAILY driven car? Seeing the muffler under the car has not been a complaint on our exhaust nor have we really had any problems or complaints that have not been remedied and that was well over a year ago when we had a few fitment issues. Broken John Deere tractor sound.....hmmm well maybe thats what you could call it or you could call it the sound of power. The 4" rolled end tip will sit flush with the bumper. It is a slipfit system so that means it will require a bit of adjusting for it to fit right.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Our exhaust is the lightest on the market besides the titanium systems, and was PROVEN to make the most power.

http://www.tprmag.com/issue/5/5_turbo_exhausts.shtml

Aux.: The link I posted above is a test that our exhaust was in against 10 other exhaust systems. If you want something mellow and not really aggresive I would go with the 3" turboback with the highflow cat, and magnaflow muffler. If you want something mellow at cruising speeds but still more throaty at WOT I would with the 3" turboback w/ off-road & magnaflow muffler. The BR mufflers are loud especially without a cat, but a little more subtle with the highflow installed.

We are selling the 3" turboback right now with your choice of muffler, and also your choice of the highflow cat or off-road pipe for $825 shipped.

Thanks for the input and comments guys.

Take care

Well my polished, shiny "pretty" exhaust stays clean for a long time. Just clean it when you wash your car and it's clean till the next car wash. It is a daily driven car. Sound of power? I wouldn't go that far. Your little link really doesn't back your words up since the magnaflow ti made more power and the HKS you beat by 2hp, and the rest were not that far behind. IMO

For all of you that have commented on our exhaust and how much you like it, THANK YOU!

With the constant dyno tuning we are doing here it is nice to get comparisons of what other systems make.

As was pointed out the Magnaflow titanium in the TPR testing did make .8 hp more than we did, we countered that though with 1.3 more ft lbs of torque. Honestly the dyno could go either way in that comparison from one pass to the other.

The fact of the matter is NOBODY makes a lighter SS exhaust for an EVO. I feel the quality of our system is second to no ones. EVERY single piece of our system is 304 grade SS, it will not rust or rot.

The other fact we have here is that no matter where our name is brought up this guy BBYBruno feels he needs to come into it and bad mouth us. I don't know him and he has none of our parts. He is the only one that had anything negative to say about our system or FMIC's in other posts, but doesn't own one. That makes his opinion useless as far as I am concerned.

I have offered and now Jarrod has offered for BBYBruno to come to our shop (only 45 minutes from where he lives) to dyno his outstanding FMIC and now his outstanding exhaust against ours. He says it is too far to come. I feel if he keeps chiming in to talk crap about us for no reason that HIS location won't be too far for ME to go to. I met one of his "friends" today, I guess I should say acquaintence, as this guy says he sees him at local EVO gatherings and such and nobody there really likes him, he is an opinionated "21" year old. If this age is correct, (AND NOTHING AGAINST ANYONE BEING YOUNG, I WISH I STILL WAS!!) that would mean I have been building/racing 4g63 powered cars since you were oh, about 5 years old. In that time I have gained some knowledge about what works.

Again, for those of you that have bought our exhaust, thanks. I can see you have been happy with your choice!

Take care guys,

David Buschur

Hey JRod,

I was wondering i saw that someone posted the needed a o2 simulator to equip your exhaust . Will this be an issue with your systems ? It definitly sounds lie i would love to buy your TBE system but am a little worrided about it passing with emission testing. Of course i could do the old swap-a-rooney if i had to but are you systems emmisions safe ? Also like i said, i love the sound of a humming exhaust when your powering third gear , the sound of it makes my heart beat big love, but like i said will i be able to hear my radio ? Will it give my wife and child a headache ? Mind you i'm not a puss i would judt like it if my family could ride in style with me . What would be the best system for someone who wants he gains, is considerate about the family, but wants what he is paying for ... power. My moto is " if it doesn't make the sar go faster i don't need it on my car". What do ya think ?

When I had my p0420 cels on my MR it was usually followed by a p0300 misfire. Don't ask me how but that's just what happened.

I fixed the infrequent p0420 cel by having the 02 simulator installed.

Maybe Buschur can chime in on why those p0420 cels get thrown. If I remember correctly it can be caused by the high flow cat.

At any rate I threw no more p0420's after having installed the 02 simulator.

My personal opinion on the exhaust can design just falls under my analness about how things look also. When I purchase a car let alone performance items I kinda group things into a fit/finish/performance/reliability category and then usually choose what I feel best about. It's a personal preference.

No knocking the Buschur exhaust because it is an extremely nice system, nice mandrel bending, and finish/fit. My only qualm was with muffler fit under the car. BTW, I think if I would have gotten the NON-rolled tip and just got the tapered sharp cut like the factory system I would been happy. Pretty **** heh?

Just my opinion, great products by Buschur. I only wish I lived a little closer to OHIO from Minnesota.

Wow.
So much drama over something that is mute.
Ive had Dave's exhausts on several dsm's over the years, and would'nt hesitate to toss one on the evo.

How is the RnR and how is the Buschur Turbo back exhausts ? Do the need any mods to make them work properly (ie, the o2 sensor ) ?
the TBE Buscher is LOUD!...wow, if you look at their piping, they have no resonator and the muffler is literally a pipe, that gives you an idea how loud that sucker is. I heard the magnaflow one they offer with a high flow cat, and it is quite mild.

The 02 sensor you should not have a problem with. Especially when your running a highflow cat. If you are running an off-road pipe ( which will not pass emissions) we have a CEL fix so you wont get a light.

Like i had mentioned before about noise / sound for what you are going for I would recommend the 3" turboback w/ highflow cat, and the magnaflow muffler. This will keep it nice sounding, but still a little aggressive while still being able to have a conversation at a normal tone, and listen to the radio without a problem. The wife and child should be just fine with this setup.

The moto sounds good to me, and like I said and the others on here had said you wont be sorry you went with the BR turboback.

If you need anything else please feel free to ask.
