I think you're reffering to the UK market. UK is the only EU country that drives on the wrong side of the road and has completely different rules and regulations than most other ones. Not even sure why they are part of EU.

 

Explain this point... For 30+ years grey market Euro cars were upgraded to US SPEC Bumpers & Crash bars upon entering the . I believe you Sir may have your facts out of order. Possibly stricter laws have been recently made, but I know for a fact that EURO bumpers were NOT 5 mph until they were installed after they reached the U.S.
