Need Help Fast

Ok, right now I am stuck at my friends house and when I put my key into the ignition, the key is stuck in the lock position and won't turn. This happened to my other key and I thought it was a dud but it happened again with this key. I am pretty it is the immobilizer has this ever happened to anyone and if so does anyone know what to do?

its not the immobilizer because you would still be able to turn the key. The immobilizer runs off the ECU. The car would start for a second and then shut off. Try turning the wheel back and forth while turning the key.

Last time this happened i got a spare key and it worked without me turning the wheel. I never turn the wheel when turning the car on. Even now when i turn the wheel back and forth and turn on the key at the same time, it still isnt working. For some reason i thought it was the key cuz of what happened. Thanks for the quick posts. I will call AAA or something tomorrow. Any more ideas will help, no matter what time.

sounds like your key wasn't cut properly. use the spare as your primary. get new keys. get your car flat bedded, it will be covered under your mitsubishi warranty assuming yours isnt voided.
