Shipping Evo?
Shipping Evo?
Well at the first of the year i'm looking to sell my beloved VI. I'm getting way to attached to this car and bringing it back to the states is not an option. Too much risk and too much hassle. So with the departure of my VI im thinking of getting into an 04-05 USDM Evo.
My question is do you think a dealer will ship the car to Belgium for me?

um, i would get a german evo. would have AYC. or a ukdm evo, maybe FQ if you can afford it.
shipping to belgium would be $$$$, cause even if you got from east coast, there is probably a lot of duties in euprope anyway.

Yeah Im military. I can get the car shipped for bout 1k...I can live with that. I was just wondering if a dealership will go though the trouble of helping me get it shipped.

If I understand correctly, you're trying to get the US Evo into Europe and then back when you're done?
Dealers won't help you ship it, you would have to arrange that yourself. At least not Mitsubishi. German car manufacturers have a thing called "euro delivery" but you can pretty much forget it with others.
How much are you selling your 6 for? Wish I had cash, I'd get it for when I go to Europe

Thats what I was kinda looking for. Just wondering if a dealership would be able to work with me.
She can be yours for the equivilant of 13k-14k British Pounds.
Check out these guys: http://www.ehharms.de/
They work with Mercedes and they have subsidiary here in the States. I called them a while back when I wanted to take my ride to Europe to go around Nurburgring and just have some fun but never did it...
I also know a company in NYC (one of many I guess) who would send it in a container, which is a bit more expensive but much safer (container gets sealed and noone goes through it and steals your ****) and you can stuff the car with things vs RoRo where the car has to be empty.
If I were you, unless you bought a UK version with wrong steering wheels side, I'd try and bring the 6 over here. Good luck!
