Wing C/F discoloration

My wing has the ugly white patches all over it. Anyone have luck getting (Best Backed Cars) to cover it ??

bump, mines doing the same thing... the clear coat turns white and is chipping off of mine. The paint on the rest of the car is fine but the cf on the top of the wing is all fudged up

Its from the carbonfiber baking in the sun. My dealer told me to always use a UV wax. Car always sits in the garage so I never use it.

I'll let you know what happens. Waiting for the dreaded local rep to pay my dealer a visit. My car only has 11,000 miles

Ive heard of some people getting it covered and some not, guess it depends on what kind of mood they are in.

I'm going to fix mine myself. A little wet sanding and spray some new clear on it, buff and wax, should be good to go but I'm going to take a lot of pictures to post here when I do it.

They ordered me a whole new wing, but they don't come painted so that has to get done also. The wing from my dealership is $1200. I'm sure glad i didn't have to pay for it.

Mine was covered under warranty. They also replaced my front calipers due to discoloration/peeling of the clearcoat. The calipers are 1200 per side and the wing is 1200. They covered it like it was no big deal and gave me a rental car free of charge

Suppose I use a UV protectant wax, which delays the discoloration just long enuf for the warranty to wear out, then the clearcoat just goes all to crap. Would I be better off not waxing at all, so it will go bad before the warranty expires? What's a guy to do???!!! Just wondering.

It's a common problem with many of the '03's. I had mine replaced under warranty with no hassle whatsoever.

Same deal for me. The wing and all 4 calipers were faded on my '03. I brought to the dealer and they replaced it all under warranty without a second thought. The guy even told me it was a common problem.
