Mid to low 20s max. With the 05's out it's gonna be hard to unload 03s and 04s I think. Especially with Mitsu's 0% and free gas for a year. I have an 03 red, with 35k miles. Granted the paint is all chipped to hell, but I took it to a dealership to see what they'd give me, and they said 15k!! I almost punched the guy and walked out.

You should tell him that if he can find another car similar to yours for 16K you'll buy it off him. If not then tell him he's an idiot. It's 1K over what he offer you

I have not heard of a trade for more than 20k on an EVO, unless it is coming from somewhere else!

Find someone who is in love with BBY and willing to pay a premium for it.

Yep I meant private owner as well. WHen did you buy it because if it was recently then no offense but you got rip off especially if it was unmodded?

Sorry to go

I am a Texas used car dealer. The national average price an 03 Evo (stock) with 40K sells for at dealer auctions is about 19K depending on condition. There are about 45 Evos auctioned off every month nationally.

Your best bet is to sell it privately to someone who will appreciate your mods. I bought my 03 this year from a private seller because it was very clean, low milage and had 7K worth of mods. I paid $24,500.

Unfortunately...most people care only about price, not quality.

While we're on topic. Would $26000 be fair for a 2005 Stock EB EVO with SSL and 25k miles be fair?
