I just installed my short shifter, and it was a lot easier than I expected it to be. Also did the bushings both in car and under hood. Very good feel to shifting now. No play any more... I feel a lot more connected to my transmission now.

Yeah but I like it... It's weighted so feels heavy when you shift. It unscrews just like the stock one.. could put the stock one back on I guess... but i like the weight.

I had an Ebay short shifter..looks alot like the stuff some vendors sell and after awhile it sucked. Put back the stock shifter... nice. Decided I wanted a short shifter again...
So I bought the WORKS short shifter... AWESOME!

Got the Kartboy underhood bushing and some ebay brass base bushing also. The car drives perfect right now, IMHO.
