Im screwed huh? damn mitsubishi...trying to kill me!?

Well i had my TC replaced about two weeks ago and now its starting to whine again... so i brought it in yesterday... Today mitsubishi gives me a call and tells me that they cant find the problem or they cant hear the noise...the noise in my car starts at a slight whine around 40mph...then goes away...then you hear a grinding around 60...then goes away till 80mph! 80MPH is when its whining so bad you can hear it even with the radio on! well...mitsubishi cant drive my car past 65 so they arent able to hear the incredible whine...so they cant figure out where its coming from...

now here comes the messed up part and lemme know if u guys would go ...i sure did

they called me and told me, dont mod the car just yet cuz its still under warranty. "Keep driving the car till the noise gets louder and more apparent in low speeds, then take it back to us and we can figure it out..." doesnt it put me at a risk if theyre telling me to drive something that might not be working properly? im gonna go pick my car up today...what do i do now? i think im just gonna save my mods money for a down payment on a evo IX...

DISCUSS!

yes...i did give the service advisor that owns an evo a ride in my car yesterday when i brought it in...he was like

Tell the service manager to get his **** in the car and you drive it up to 80mph and show him the whining noise. Check the fluid, mine whined like hell right before it seized up due to low/no fluid.

tell them to QUIT PUTTING TRANNY FLUID IN THE FAWKING TRANSFERCASE.

ask them if they will atleast change it to diaqueen for you, then see what happens.

LOL! no kidding ... well you could tell them that if they can't fix it they need to send it to someone who can ... then (in my fantasy world) when they send it, have teamrip secretly upgrade it ... wishful thinking sigh ...

Get the "Keep driving the car..." BS in writing so if/when you get in an accident or the car destroys itself as a result, you've got something to stand on legally.
