i just got my evo a week ago. i was wondering what it boosts up to? i know it goes up then it drops back down. but what are the numbers it goes up to? thanks everyone for your time.

there was just a thread about this same topic, but to answer your question my stock 05 spiked at like 22-24 sometimes and leveled out to like 16-17, now I have a MBC which I have set to 20 PSI and still tapers off about 1psi to redline....

 

Stock Is 19 Psi And At 5300 Rpms It Tapers To 16 Psi. Dont Believe What Others Tell You It Is Set By The Boost Actuator Valve In The Main Computer Perimeters.

Ok EvoDude, you are really getting off on the wrong foot here. AGain, you didn't search for an INCREDIBLY COMMONLY ASKED QUESTION...so common, in fact, that the same question is on this same page and was already answered.

20.3psi peak at 3500rpm tapering to 17 by 6500rpm.

 

JUst installed a defi boost gauge last night in my 05.
3rd gear gets to 19 psi with a small spike to 20 then tapers to 17.
