If you can put on the cone part without using the hard pipe - then yes that will work with out a flash. Is the the dual vent aps? Just be sure that you vent enough back into the intake or you may experience stalling issues.

Thats the funny thing about Evos, same car, but each takes mods differently. Like the Type S I have, lots of people here have the S, but we all have it set differently. I dont think its the build of the valve, but rather what the car "likes". In the end it comes to preference and loyalty.

Correct - just change to a bov that flows like stock but can hold the boost better will work fine.

What do you want to get out of your bov? I needed better holding power because I run more psi and whatnot. Sound was a side benefit. If its just to hear the whoosh sound then I would change to the cone filter and leave the stock dv in. If you plan on adding a boost controller and to run more boost, or yours is leaking, then an aftermarket will correct that.

The pic is for Evolution888, sorry to put it here, but its a really ghetto mspaint job.
Haha, yeah for now I think i'm going for just the sound. I don't have anymore money to worry about the performance. I still have 7k left to pay off the car... Borrowed from my brother in law the loan shark.. haha Have to keep up with my monthly payments.

At first i thought i had to change the stock bov no matter what to get the sound, but if i can just change the filter without touching the intake and flashing I'll do it next weekend Got a wedding to go to this weekend, and then the girl... busy busy.. haha
