we got the exhaust made up today but I was unable to snap off some pics before she got pulled off the lift. Looks wild though 4" pipe is purdy as hell. The water injection just came in so Chris has decided to slap that little gem on as well. Its a nice insurance policy on top of race gas.

AMS already told everyone they don't care if somone elses car is faster then theirs, what the hell do they care? They get the money, they said that Chris car should be a bit behind theirs in 1/4th times because its stroked and cannot rev as high.

It has nothing to do with slower 1/4 mile times. That's like saying a 600ci n/a mod motor is slower than a 500ci Pro Stock motor because it has a longer stroke. Given equal parts with correct gearing between the two, I'd bet on the stroker being quicker. A bit more torque to haul the weight and a bit more under the curve.

Besides, isn't Chris primarily racing from a roll where the extra torque will benefit most.

Anyone know how far you can overbore a 4G63 block before the walls are too thin? Anyone add block filler for side wall strength? How about re-sleeving?

I agree, here's the post.

I am merely saying in this particular case I think that Chris' car is going to come a little under ours in terms of 1/4 mile time. I have been proved wrong before and ill be the first one to shake his hand if he beats our time....between us I hope that he does.
