He bought the Buscher 2.3L block. So yes, you could say he built the bottom end.

Oh and FU for doing what I can only dream about.

After seeing the notorious Florida Evo I bit the bullet and decided to heavily mod my car. I just purchased 2003 last week on Thursday and ordered the parts yesturday.

The car was dropped off at TopSpeed in Georgia and some of the parts are being installed as we speak so I can make a drag event this upcoming weekend. Thanks to Doug and Tray @ TopSpeed for ordering, installing, and dyno tuning my car on such short notice to make the drag event this weekend.

Big thanks to Buschur Racing for producing great parts and telling us the results as he finds out.

Keep in mind, I just bought the car last week on Thursday. Here is what is being installed as I type this.

AEM EMS w/wideband, sensors, and 5 bar map
Tial bov
mini battery and relocation kit
Buschur upper pipe kit
Buschur 3in Turbo back exhaust
MSD DIS 2 HO w/GM coils
Weldon fuel pump
HKS 280 cams
ARP studs

Here is a list of parts ordered yesturday.

Buschur GT35R turbo kit
Buschur stage 3 head
Buschur 2.3l stroker kit
Buschur alky injection kit(I'm running methanol)
Buschur race front mount intercooler
Buschur ported intake manifold
Buschur 65mm throttle body
Buschur timing belt kit w/kevlar belt
1200cc injectors
Aeromotive fpr w/guage
Exedy Triple disc carbon

I'm looking for around 650whp with these mods and I think that is a realistic goal.

To be continued....
If you don't mind me asking, how much money is all of this running you?

You need to send the tranny and TC (have them put in a LSD preferably the Quaife) out to TeamRip to get built up ASAP .... Oh yeah and get some drag gears from them while you are at it ... Oh and you may need to get stronger than stock axles while you are at it ...

I agree 100%, better to spend the money on the drivetrain components now then fork over even more dough after they break.

I have a friend with a similar story to yours but he owns an acura type R. His car just got tuned at Turbotrix and it made 617 to the wheels and he wants more. To date he has invested at least 30K. Good luck with all the mods. Baby steps...that is what my friend said too as he ordered about 100 parts a day. LOL.

Tray at TopSpeed has been on the phone for hours tracking down parts, ordering this and that. Big thanks to him for going the extra mile.

..and yes the block will be a fully built Buschur 2.3l stroker and o-ringed.

I just got my accident settlement a couple weeks ago, but I had already found the car I wanted. The guy held it for me until the money cleared my account. I finally purchased the car last week on Thursday and put it in the shop on Tuesday.

I'll bring the tapes from the spring Import Showdown. I don't know how we could copy them though.

All in good time my friend, baby steps. The car has a long way to go. I still have suspension, APR widebody kit, roll cage, 17 or 18x10's, and some other goodies lined up.

I just ordered my rims and tires today that I will be using in the mean time. I had them shipped 2nd day air just to get them in time for the Import Showdown this weekend.
