WOW.....Gotta Gotta Get It!

Just got back from the local nissan dealer. As I was driving past I saw her sitting there. 2005 Black EVO "Straight Eight". One adult owner, balance of 5 yr mitsu warranty for right around 30,000 smackers. The saleperson said the price could be negotiated though.

I took her out for a drive and it ran nice, didn't really romp on it though the salesman was old and drinking a cup of coffee, didn't want to kill him.

I am thinking that with maybe $3000 down and an offer around $28000 I could seal the deal. Any opinions would be appreciated on my offer.

I have a job interview tomorrow that should put me in the salary range to afford it. I figure if can bring home around $650 to $700 a week after taxes that I could afford the payment and insurance. Again I don't know, any opinions would be nice.

Thanks guys and wish me luck.

Hellllllllllllllll no!!! That's more than they cost brand new. No way in hell should pay anywhere near that price for a used one. You need to tell us the mileage and whether it's SSL or not. YOu said "Straight Eight," which means to me it's the plain version without SSL (and no HIDs). This version can be bought for 28-29k BRAND NEW, especially now that the IXs are out. You should only pay 26 for that sucker...

My opinion - Save the money for the new 4g eclipse . 260hp in like a 3.3L DAYUMM!!!! , it looks like a ferrari too. the new eclipse will toast any evo on the road in handling and speed. Plus the chicks dig it. Also get k&n filter after you get the eclipse for bov sound.

regards

Not to rain on your parade, bud, but you ain't got the job yet. Maybe you shouldn't get your hopes up too much and focus on the interview instead of how much you are going to pay for a car that you may not be able to buy.

It has 5000 miles no SSL, I don't really want the SSL. So maybe 26,000 G or so then....huh. No eclipse, EVO it is going to be. I know I don't have the job yet but am feeling pretty good about it. If there is one thing I am good at it is waiting and not screwwing myself over. Good looking out though urBan__dk.

Thanks again. I am a fat kid and yes i do like cake.

Good luck on your interview! Remember to dress to impress and only accept water if they offer you a drink at the interview.
