somone said that the JIC Ti is too loud. I've also seen many posts saying that the JIC was almost too quiet or quieter than they expected. So obviously i won't be getting the Greddy Ti but i would really like to pick up the JIC unless it's as loud as the Greddy.

would a 4 inch exhaust even have any better gains than a 3 inch on a relativley unmodded evo? Doesnt seem like it would do anything other than cost a lot more and get you in trouble with the police.

I was in the market for quiet when I was looking for a TBE. I'm just curious why would someone prefer it to be loud?

Ok I hear alot of people saying how loud these TBE are but are they clean sounding? I had a BPM twister set up on my STi and it sounded like a tornado was next to u. loved it! whats a loud set up but at the same time its a clean sound. I dont want it to be just loud but sound like those bee hive Honda's

i'd say Apexi N1 is the loudest to me. i run 3" w/ 24" resonator, no cat, and its still freakin loud. i have to put a silencer so my neighbors stop complaning about it.

Whats this 4" RnR Ryan was talking about? I know he makes a 3" and you can get a 4" tip on it....or maybe he's talking about the one on his car. Either way, their 3" TBE w/ no cat was suprisingly very loud.... much louder than I had ever expected....it sets car alarms off like there's no tomorrow

No way. Try having a shop build you a custom downpipe with no cat with a side exit exhaust. My buddy has one on his WRX for the track and nothing compared to its ear blistering noise.

here is an in car video of it with a crappy mic so you truly don't get the full effect.

WARNING: its 340mb:Fast server though. http://www.kalionzes.com/video/SpringMountain.0001.mpg

Its a 340whp WRX in the beginners class so he wasn't able to have as much fun as he would have liked.

For loudness I enjoy my decatted Magnaflow Ti. It really doesnt bother me, however Im an old geezer and my hearing was permanently damaged from standing next to the Marshall amps at a Hollywood Bowl early seventies rock concert.

Well duh...I am not talking about a dump. I am talking about a large company and how they build exhausts. He can go to any exhaust shop and they will build him the ricey'est sounding exhaust he wants.
