i think it looks worse when there's a huge license plate stuck in the window than when it's where it's supposed to be. if you don't like it that much just take it off and risk the ticket, don't stick it in the windshield

Would your passengers like it knowing there is a sharp metal object in front of them if you get into an accident?

My dad got pulled over for not having a front plate here in Texas (just outside of Austin).

I agree. Plates on the windshield look like trash to me. It doesn't matter what the car is. However sometimes it's hideous...like in EVOs, especially in Eclipse.

When my friend got his RSX-S he put his on his dash without anything holding it to the windshield...and I took it down and made him buy suction cups, no way I was going to let that thing get thrown at my face.

in mass a front plate is a must. nt sure about pa. i think it really depends on where you live if they hassle you or not. just do yourself a favor, if youre going to leave it on the dash, secure it somehow

If they want to pull you over they will, here in MA i was driving without one for a year, and got hastled about it 1 time. Cop asks me why I don't have it I told him I'm new to the state and just asked me to put it on when i got time.

Putting it in the dash doesn't make it legal anyway. It has to be secured to the front bumper (at least according to Cali law, I would assume this is similar in other states with a front license policy).
