I ordered a CF hood through them and it turned out fine. Although it did say on the box to check the package before accepting. Because once accepted its all my responsibility. Thats what I did and saw no damage. At first I was a little skeptical about this process but when it came in perfect condition I was pleased.

A little late but here is what happens with all body items.

You have to check for damages before signing the package. If you sign for the package, it means that there is no problems with the package.

pyrovice call me about 1 week after he recieved the package and told me that the body shop said that there was a damaged on the bumper. There is no way that no one checks for their item when they first recieves the package, and not to say call right away if the package is damaged.

If pyrovice had called me the same day he recieved the package and have refused the package we would of ordered him a new bumper and send it to him. Just the fact that he called about 1 week after he recieved the package, the damage could of came from anywhere.

pyrovice im more than happy to help you out on your next purchase, but there is nothing that we can do on this bumper.

When I ordered the CF hood for my old Integra the company I ordered from had the same policy. Actually they told me on the phone to make sure I open and inspect it when I get it to check for damage and if found inform them right away.

I understand were your coming from with this answer When i order boy kits for cust. I always check before signing. It's a tough choice. I personaly never had an easy time with it. But, sometimes UPS and FEDex arent the nicest people to deal with.

From a customers Point of view though, its your fault and you should do something about it. Thats what good customer survive is to some people even if it means taking money out of your pocket. Do i agree with this. Not all the time. But good luck to you both.

Anthony:

We will take care of a problem if we can tell if it is our problem, but not contacting us right away, and a week later when its in the body shop there could of been so many people touch it, drop it, chipped it when installing it. If you put yourself in a sellers point of view it is very hard to exchange a new bumer for him.

You need to contact UPS. There should be insurance on the package. However, getting money out of them is like clipping a bears nails. And if you signed for it, then you might be out of luck with them too.

Mostlikely 500whp did not send a broken bumper. The shipper (UPS) mostlikely damaged it and they are the ones who should pay for it. So I would go after them for your refund...

I know when I get a package I am quick to open it just to awww it not necessarily to inspect for damage. Although if I were to find damage then I would call up the place I bought it and discuss it proly the next day if not the same. I can not see waiting that long for you to notice their was something wrong with it. Hopefully you can get something out of UPS.
