Going in to look at some evo's tomorrow

Well tomorrow, gonna head down to a local dealership and look at some evo's and most likely test drive one, if they arnt so **** about it this time.

Just thought id see some peoples thoughts on anything particular i should look for, or anything to that sort.
And i had a question on this free gas thing . I plan on gettn a 2005 Evo, hopefully a new one, either an MR or the 8. And i know how mitsubishi has this free gas thing for a year if you purchase a car from them. Does this also count if you trade your car for it and finance the rest with them? Cause i have a 350z that i still owe a little on, so gotta work that out if i trade it. So i would still owe a little on the evo, so technically i will be paying for the evo, so do i get free gas still?

Oh and whats the best price people usually get on the evo8s or MRs? Invoice? Below invoice? What exactly?

Thanks guys, hope to be driving one soon .

You can take $2000 in free gas, or $2000 of the price, for me, the choice is pretty clear. I would only pay about $26-27 for a new 05' evo right now, if they want anything more, make the drive to socal.

Well seeing as there are no more new MR for sure.. or Even 8s for that matter... I think iam gonna go with a IV... I saw a blue one today, but i didnt even think at the time to see if it was a SSL package.. i really would prefer it to be SSL, but who knows. They were asking 31,994 for it. Which is their sticker and wouldnt even take $200 below sticker... Damn.
O well. Returning my Z to stock now, and then gonna sell it, and finance the evo. So lets hope i can get in one ASAP. I took it for a test drive today, the ahole salesman wouldnt let me drive it... and it was even an used 2003 one. Iam gonna go back in a couple days or so and the sales manager said he was going to let me drive, instead of setting me up with some stupid front sales guy... Not a good way to get somone to buy a car, not even let them drive a 20k mile 2003 .

New IX. It looks so damn good in person, the mivec is really supposed to bump up the low end power, and even on a non-SSL model the new seats and interior are P I M P ' N.

I'm actually happy that the f'n dealer pissed me off into walking out on a deal for an VIII (over, wouldn't ya know it, a test drive) because I'm all kinds of in love with the IX.

I went in today and they let me test drive an 03 used evo. Obviously they wont let anyone drive the new 9's, but it was nice to actually drive an evo. I think iam in love now.. Was some of the most fun i had driving a car, give it i really didnt get on it that much, and sure as hell didnt launch.. So it was laggy till i got out of the turbo lag. But still was sooo nice.
Iam hooked, i cant even go back to my Z now... I want itttttt!
I just gotta get a co-signer now for my finance!! hrm...

There are still 8's, believe it or not.

Todey Mitsubishi in Ventura, CA has two left. One red, one silver, both with SSL.

If you are willing to make the drive, they are an awesome dealership. They are a no BS "sell the car for a fair price" kind of dealership.
