It looks like these gauges have a dark dome that goes black when they are off, and the gauges just light up when they are on and shine through. How is visibility in bright daylight? Are they overly bright at night, or do they dim?

I noticed in one store it says: "(Note: Senders are NOT included with any of the gauges except for Oil Pressure. All other hardware is supplied for installation.)" So does that mean you need to purchase something else to get the gauges to function?

I heard a lot of bad reviews over at zilvia.net, they all tend to stay away from the gauges.

Honestly I like the Stewart Warner gauges. They work nice and they are not overly expensive.

I bought the megan and it's working fine, and looks better.

Like the gauge was off and they would stop working.

Quick update on the Megan Racing gauges: I PM'd everyone I saw that had the gauges, and the general consensus is that they are fairly visible in daylight and not overly bright at night since they do hook into the dimmer switch.

All gauges came with all necessary hardware/sending units except the oil pressure gauge, which does require a sender.

Also interested in these, has anyone tried anything other than the boost gauge?

Yeah what is the deal with that AFR gauge? Where does it get it's signal and what makes it gay exactly?

There is also a discussion about gauges over in this thread with some examples of the other Megan Gauges.

I currently have autometer gauges (lunar) that i've beat the hell out of. Essentially all A/F gauges are a waste unless it's hooked up to a wideband, but I was just looking into a couple different ones.

What size is the MR?

Makes sense. (AFR gauges thing) Megan gauges are 52mm and run about $50 each except for the EGT gauge/sensor pack.
