Fan infront of radiator!!

I installed my MBC the other day and poked a whole in my radiator all b/c of the stupid fan. I removed the air box, upper ic pipings and rubber pieces but i still couldn't get the stupid fan out. I detached the temp sensor on the fan w/2 bolts, and it still wouldn't come out, the lower ic piping is blocking it where the tempsensor bolts on to it on the rightside, on the left the coolant hoses are blocking it. I installed the mbc correctly and everything is great but my radiator is leaking!!!(just ordered Koyo radiator from ebay for $179)

So for the future, How the hell do you people get that fan out? did I miss something?

Please any advice would be greatly helpful for my future installs.

More carefully than you did it, obviously.

You don't have to unbolt anything except the top 2 bolts and unhook the plug. Of course the intake needs to be out. It's a b1tch with the stock IC pipe, but it can be done.

Sorry to here about your rad. But if you removed the airbox and hoses, then it wasn't necessary for you to remove the fan. You only remove the fan if you don't want to remove the upper hoses.

Don't mean to thread jack, but I like yourself might be looking to buy a new radiator.

Why is this Koyo radiator so cheap here and everywhere else it's $300.00 plus?
Is this a knock off?

this radiator is an oem type replacement. the ones you see for 300+ are full aluminum radiators with thicker cores.
