evo acceleration
Either my car is faster than these, or its just me but, my car feels very quick/no real lag........ the only thing I have trouble with is shifting gears while my whole body is smashed against the seat!
And I havnt been over 5k rpm, and I keep it around 4k all the time.
I have about 350 miles on it and plain on a much longer break in period..... like 1000=1250 miles before I push it to the floor.
Also i plan on changing the oil at 600 miles. I have heard it flushes out any metal shaving that might be in your engine.

after break in...I unpluged the battery and hooked it back up (car is stock for now) the comp. reset itself, and now I feel more of a pull since right when I re-hooked up my battery....redline! Now the car pulls harder than my friends and he got his a month before me. not a HUGE deal, but I can feel it pull more when I drive mine than when I drive his. just my .02
stock evos are really slow. its just they have a lot of potenchiel
stock 03 evos trap about the same speed at s2000's and 350z's so its preatty slow. they all trap around 100mph in the 1/4 mile. but evos get a lot faster with a few low cost mods
with the stock turbo you will always feel like its slow on the upper rpm's. The stock turbo has no top end at all. at 3-5k its kind of fast then just dies at the top end

Someone else might have mentioned it, but it'll start to pull harder overtime. Mine started to pull noticably harder around 1500mi..
If you ever read Motortrend or Car and Driver when they do their long term close outs, pretty much every car is faster at 40k miles then at 1k miles.
