Actually I am enjoying the APS, even without the sound.. since I hear nothing. Thanks for asking, honestly. Its a nice mod.

Honestly, I think there are more people on this forum that would rather see you leave Warrtalon, over me... lol.
Right, buddy. You wasted our time by asking about BOVs, then you got one and found out, "Oh crap, it doesn't make any noise." So, you spent over $200 for a mod that DOES work, but that DOESN'T make the noise you want, which means you COULD have just gotten the JDM MR DV for $110, since it works just as well for half the price. Of course, you didn't need EITHER OF THEM, because you don't even have any boost control!!!! You are the prime example of what we detest and why we get angry. Instead of listening and doing what's best, you act like a Hondaboy and go the 2F2F route.

I can show you about 200 PMs of people who would disagree with your last statement. I am extremely helpful to those who want to listen and who don't act like stupid little ricers. To the rest (like you), I'm a thorn...

Wow not my first choice for a mod either!

Either way, I still went with one of the best bov's for the Evo.. and it wasn't all that expensive, so whats the big deal? I obviosuly didn't buy it FOR the sound. Yes, I like the sound, and eventually with other mods, I will begin to hear it. I noticed the difference the bov did, and I am liking it.. whether there is sound or not, I don't care at this point. I am just happy I have something that will be beneficial later on, and isn't causing any trouble what so ever.

Secondly, I have tried to listen to you before, and heck.. sometimes I agree with you. Thing is.. you have NEVER tried to actually help (me atleast), you always lose your patiance right away. You can get off the ricer statment for the reason that I am definatly NOT a ricer.. there are MANY MANY more people here that do, or ask worse things than me.. so stop assuming that.

Lastly, I don't have $$$$'s to spend on mods, so I am going little by little. Bov, may not do much now, but eventually it will help a lot, its just one thing out of the way. If I had the money right now, I would be following your route; TBE, boost controller, flash. But thats not the case right now. But.. it is an instance where I listened, and took your advice.

I am going to admit, I don't know TOO much about this kinda stuff, but I do know SOME. Which is why I am apart of this community, and the reason I ask a lot of stupid questions, etc. I am only trying to expand my knowledge, and hopfully become more advanced like some of you guys..

Sorry, man, but aren't fooling me. Your BOV is doing NOTHING for you at stock boost with no mods, so it's useless. It won't "help a lot" later either. You will not REALLY need that BOV until you have all the bolt-ons and are running Meth or unless you go to the track and use race gas while turning the boost up to 24-25psi. Until then, your BOV is just a rice mod just like you intended from the beginning. If you didn't have much money, why the heck would you buy a BOV first? You got no gains from it...none, whatsoever. You then go on and say that it wasn't "expensive." Ok, I don't know what you consider "expensive," but to me, anything over $110 for a BOV is "expensive." For $200, do you realize what else you could have gotten? A mail-in flash costs $200 or An MBC+gauge+steering column pod costs $200. Both of these combos would be helping you on a daily basis RIGHT now while providing more peak power and much more power delivery across the whole powerband. Instead, you did a BOV...and it isn't making enough noise.

You are now saying you didn't get it for noise, but that means you forgot this thread:

BOV Sound Sites

and this quote:

"Ok. Thanks for the info. I think I am going to stick with the RS then.. however if I recirc it, is there still a way that it will make the "whoosh"?"

maybe this quote:

"I am a person who likes the "whoosh" sound so.. that is something that I want to have."

So, if you don't care about sound, then why didn't you just get the JDM MR DV for half the price, then use the rest of the money on an MBC? Is it because you are going to eventually be running 28psi daily and need something that will hold more than 25psi like the JDM MR DV, even though you don't have enough money to get an exhaust?

Warrtalon is like the QA (quality assurance) of the message boards, I feel bad that someone has to take the time responding to repeated threads on the issue of VTA and intakes.

It all boils down to the fact that when you change the way air flows over a sensor that the everything relies on for operation, negative and sometimes catostophic things can happen.

Why would anyone screw up a properly working system for a, IMO, gay sound. What a waste of money.

i think this forum would benefit from a sticky for intakes, exhausts, etc.
