OK, this is really my opinion and no one elses but I am really tired of all the intake and BOV threads that seems to be coming up every freaking day. Really, if one was to search before posting the thread, there would not need to repost this question again. I am not saying that one should not post a question but if they should at least try to search first and see if it has been answered before.

You say...just don't read it. But posting repost does negatively affect the forum because first, when one does search it comes back with a 200 result and 2nd, it pollutes the forum with the same questions over and over. It's like someone asking Coke or Pepsi every freakin day! Maybe I would understand if one was to ask the same question to get an update result, but the question has just been asked just yesterday!

The image of an Evo use to be a car for the enthusiasts, but now it seems more and more like a car for honda ricer kids. Anyways, like I said, that's just my opinion.

 

If I was you and I started a thread about something that I hated threads being started about...

I would rather make a write up on the "Ins and Outs" bov and intakes,
with suggestions on what to get, what not to get, what websites to buy from,
and links to outher good threads about the subject...

and maybe just maybe it will become a sticky and resolve alot of problems and flame wars before they start

everyone's got a point, we're all tired of the same question. But we lack a sticky about pros/cons of intake and bov w/and w/o tunes and why...that's all it takes...i hope

this thread is just retarded....anyways heres what i think....what would be the point of a messageboard if everyone is told to "search".....thered be no point....also just because someone likes a bov to vta or the sound of a intake on a turbo doesnt mean they are a idiot or a ricer....they just enjoy the sound of the turbo and bov...big deal....i also think alot of people post threads about these things is because they want the cool sound of the mod but yet they want to avoid problems....and if its so annoying to some of you guys why do you respond to the threads with smart *** comments? does it make you feel better about yourself because you have "better" mods??

 

Actuall I've been on for years and I'm not even sure how a noob should go about zoning in on a sticky - what the hell is a sticky anyway?!

I do a search and get 145 seemingly irrelevant threads.

Am I looking in the wrong place or not narrowing the search enough?

 

Yet again another useless thread, I think this board holds the record.

 

This board not only holds the record for the most useless threads, but also the most little *****es who are ALWAYS complaining about threads, what people like (that they don't), etc. Rather annoying, I really wish there was another good Evo Community... I would be outta hurr in seconds.. its really a shame clubwrx.net is a WRX/STI community, or else I would be there...

There is literatly NO possible way to really find out truthfully what you need to know on here without going through hell trying to get it. You postsomething.. it is either ok, or horrible. If its ok, you will get a couple posts from people trying to help. If its horrible, you will get flamed by 3-10 people about how stupid of a mod, or whatever your doing... man is it ever aggravating.

 

Good, we can't wait for you to leave - one less ricer for us to deal with. Enjoying that APS BOV as your first mod?

 

Have you been involved in many online forums? This is actually one of the better ones around... you should be thankful that a resource such as this one is avaliable and maintained... there ARE other forums. You are welcome to check them out...

Actually I am enjoying the APS, even without the sound.. since I hear nothing. Thanks for asking, honestly. Its a nice mod.

Honestly, I think there are more people on this forum that would rather see you leave Warrtalon, over me... lol.

 

Im not talking about maintenance, and the resources this forum has. Im talking about a lot of the people who are registered here, like Warrtalon.. they make it a horrible experience for a lot of the newcomers, and from there on out.. its just aggravating.
