Actually you can. Someone use screws to tighten the spring. Not sure if it worked though

 

Here is one that works. Get a drag racing battery and run a switch to the alternator so you can disable it. If the alternator is not charging, that equals less drag on the motor. Just like when you turn the A/C on and off.

 

You minus well take out the power steering and AC as well if you're going out of your way

Im done with free mods...that was back in my 1g days, when I was a kid and had no money.

 

turning the actuator turnbuckle down as far as it will go, reattach it. Wholla! no more excessive boost taper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you will have to readjust your boost controller if you don't want to spike it too high. i spiked mine to 37PSI on accident. still works like new...
