Rev limiter and the IX and MR
I heard that there was a Rev limit on the MR maybe the IX too at like 5500... I heard you can sit there on the gas and the car will just sit there and REv...
Heard its a good energy booster and sounds real neat! Is that true

There is a built-in limiter for _ALL_ 05 models that won't let you rev above _5000rpm_ while stationary with the clutch depressed. It's like a 2-step launch control where the revs stay in that area even though you're flooring the accelerator. It is not a "good energy booster" (wtf is that?) and it does not sound neat or real neat. It's annoying.
All of the IXs probably have it as well...
