Evo 9 wing weaker than 8 ?!

Damn i actually let my GF sit on the wing of my Viii. Looks like when i get my IX, i won't be able to pick up chicks anymore by letting them sit on my wing and say "see you're not fat!." 
i highly doubt they're any weaker than the VIIIs. You;re looking at a show car. You can't base anything other than looks off those cars. Everything is just slapped together for looks. For all you know that wing could have been attached with double sided tape. The STi wing is structually stronger. Its a complete square. But it's also made out of plastic.

I have a IX...traded up from an 03 VIII...the wing definitely feels a little loose...
Its hollow on the inside and doesn't have the bolts (at least not visible) like the 8 wing.
No flex at speed...I was kinda worried about that myself...
