Well, it just so happened that I completely detailed my car yesterday. It took me 3 hours of nonstop work. That's just background info so you understand my pain a little more. Anyway, today on my way home from work I was casually cruising down the freeway minding my own business, and then I saw a white dodge ram that was raised at least 2 feet coming up from behind me. It sped up right next to me. I felt the two guys in the car just staring at me, but my dad taught me to try to not keep in eye contact of crazies on the road, so I didn't look. By the way, I hate to use the word, but when I got to get a glimpse of them later on, they looked like white trash.
So, all of a sudden the car speeds up and quickly merges in my lane without a signal. Oh, but it gets worse. They sped up a little and then I they started throughing stuff out their car and it starting hitting my car. I mean, I've never seen anything like this?!?!? When they through the first object, I thought they were just literring, but then they through what looked like a drink and it hit the ground and splooged all over the nose of my car?!?! I quickly swirved out the way into the next lane. Now, I was thinking I should have just bombed it off, but I decided that would be dumb because they could follow me home. Obviously they were pissed at something, so I didn't want to take my chances. So, what I did was I slowed down a little and took the nearest exit. I got a little lost, but it was worth risking them following me. This is by far the WEIRDEST incident I have ever had to go through while driving. To be honest, I think they got angry because of the massive wing and altezzas and thought I was some ricer, who knows .

haha. i remember i had something similar. but unlike you, i did **** with them, i sped up in front of them (they were in a mustang) and i slowed down and pissed them off more cuz they hit my car. and after that i sped off but they followed me. they followed me to my town and my house and waved a knife at me. but they were like other high school kids and i was scared but i knew they woudlnt do ****. and they didnt, they drove off.

Yeah, but these hillbillies have the nerve to do it right in the open public. It's like they are just daring you to do something about it. Of course, I would probably never . I guess the good news is, is that there seems to be no dents or anything from all the crapola they threw.

you did the right thing by avoiding them and turning off the exit to avoid them.
Luckily for you there was no damage to your car... dont worry about the car if it got dirty, it can always be washed and detailed again.

This past summer something similar happend to me. A car in front of me threw a soda can out the window and nearly hit my front bumper when the can hit the ground but thanks to the EVO's sharp steering I was able to duck the can I suppose....

then right afterwards some teenagers driving a modded 90-92 Integra in the lane over revved on me and floored the gas, leaving a long trail of black smoke behind them... then to make the story better the kids nearly missed their exit so they swerved like lunatics from their lane, across my lane, nearly clipping my front end, and nearly missed the yellow sand-filled cans, and got off their exit......

You gotta love them haters and ricers...

Actually, my first experience with a ricer was actually really funny, at least to me. I was driving home and I saw a red dot in my mirror, and it was coming really fast. A few seconds later, the dot turns out to be some nasty looking guy in a red honda crx who just kept reving the engine, bombing it off, then slowing down right next to me. He did this at least 4 times. Mind you, this was on my 3rd day of owning the evo, so I was really surprised I experienced this so fast.

 

I thought of doing that on a few occasions but I didnt think it was that serious to call the cops.

I almost called a cops on these kids that were going around town in their friends SUV firing their pellet guns at street signs and stuff....now that pissed me off cuz they took a shot in my general direction and could have taken my eye out.

 

You have a good point. But, to me, it would be more logical to just get out as fast as possible and just live with the minor scraps or whatever. Plus, if I called the police and then they got arrested and what not, whose to say they wouldn't come after me after they served their petty time? I know it seems like I'm being a little paranoid, but thats not a chance I'm willing to take.

 

sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.... call it in report it and have the cops check it out and you can remain annonymous....
up here in NY I have seen signs along side highways with the # to call to report drunk drivers, reckless/aggressive drivers.
