iPods are incompatable with the EVO. You have to drive a VW (or Audi) and have lots of gay friends who hang out at Starbucks.
Actaully, I have no idea. I know my alpine desk to supposed to hook up to one allowing the head unit to control it.

I have an alpine hu and the ipod interface. It works real nice. I converted the change bin into an ipod slot. All i do is drop the ipod into the change bin and close the door. Everything is controlled through the stereo.
You guys are lucky to have XM radio.. if they had that stuff here I wouldnt be needing a Ipod 
But anyways if you want to select different tracks you must control it from the Ipod when hooked up to a Alpine head unit?

Yea my friend has the ipod alpine interface and its really cool. You can control everything from the head unit. But I have an Eclipse monitor and I hooked up the brand new ipod video through the video IN on the brain and it works great. Gay thing is that you have to toggle with the ipod.
