264's with cam gears

i want an idle exactly like stock if i get cams. im told to get either 272's with cam gears to smooth it out or just get 264's. can i get 264's with cam gears as well?.....will that make my idle better perfect?

You don't need cam gears on 264's to get a good idle. Unless it's a Jun 264.

Hks 264's idle's very close to stock.

u don't need cam gears with hks 264's. maybe for 274/280's
In fact, i thought the idle was smoother w/264's and custom dynoflash than it was stock. Save your cash for other worthwhile mods.

I have 264's and honestly they idle like stock, None of my friends were able to determine the difference. They knew I had gotten quite faster but they could'nt figure out how.

Ok so you dont need the gears with the 264s but what gains can you get out of the gears with the 264s?
