Hey guys, I was wondering if any 05 owners (or anyone from prior years) who has experienced a "clunk" noise that sounds like a rock or something hitting the bottom of the car as you roll the car to a stop.

I never heard this on my 03, and I'm wondering if it might have something to do with the ACD or something thats different on the 05's. I waited (I'm at a hair under 1,500miles now) to see if the noise would go away after break-in, but it still remains. The noise happens almost every single session of driving, but it dosent happen EVERY time I brake... mostly just once per drive.

Tried searching, but so many threads about clunks and groans I didnt find anything!

 

Sounds like an unseated spring.... or golf ball lose in trunk.

 

1800 miles brother and i haven't heard anything more than some squealing. Sounds bad though.

 

damn dosent sound so good... looks like I'll have to heading to service... any other experiences?
