Would anyone like to both to answer my question? I guess it is for those who have been in both 03 and 05. Thanks

 

I had and '03 and now have an '05. The '05 seems faster and seems to handle better. 0.0% financing is the only reason I traded the '03 (lowered my car payment and will still pay the '05 off in the same amount of time the '03 would have taken). I think the 9 will prove to be better ... that's the nature of cars, especially the Evolution. For me a IX did not make financial sense.

I concluded the same thing. I bought an 05 Black Tarmac(looks really cool at night, kinda purple/blue & black) and took the 2K in free gas. I put 1/2 down and financed the balance @ 5.6%. I plan on paying it off in a year. I didn't feel like paying 2500 over what I paid for my 05 on an 06. I paid 29500 for my Evo VIII, maybe I paid a little high, but I wanted the 2K in fuel.
Did I say that I love my Evo? Oh yeah, I love driving this thing!! I've never had SO much fun going to and from work!!!!

 

I've messed around with the ACD whipping a couple donuts on sandy gravel but I wouldnt recommend it. On Tarmac the donuts were circular and wide and when I changed it to Gravel you can feel the front has more power because the car wont oversteer and get you doing circles you'll actually just coast sideways!

 

Yea, I know the 05 has more power/handling, I am more curious about the ACD. How much of a difference does ACD make? How does the 03 feel in rain/snow when compared?
