Need some input !!

I think I have made up my mind on parting my car out and selling it for a M5. What do you guys think..Should I hold on to my MR and just dump more money into it, or should I invest into a M5..

I drove one today and it was freaking sweet..I fell in love with it and I wanted to take it home tonight...I just couldnt yet they have to work out the deal some more to get me into that car.

but please leave me some input..I really like this car, but I'm just not 100% sure yet..

It's doubtful anyone here has any experience with the new M5. That car is so far out of the Evo's class and price range, it's not funny. I don't see how there would be much of a decision to be made between an M5 and a highly-modded Evo. They serve entirely different purposes. What is it you want in a car?

i have thought about parting with my evo for several cars: Zo6 and E46 M3 are the two i crave....but i just can't part with my EVO...those other cars don't give me everything the EVO does.

Much more classy in the m3, but i crave power both in a strait line and on the road course....the e46 isn't a slouch at either, but its def not in a class with the evo.

Z06 is as good, or better than the evo at most everything, except braking and it doesn't have a backseat which i need for my daughter.

just go through the pro's and cons and make a decision, the EVO is a great little car...but not very professional for a daily driver, and thats what im faced with at the moment....thinking about a used 3 series for a daily and keeping the EVO.

good luck

I just cant decide..I love my evo and I really dont want to part it out..but with the job I am getting here I probably should. I will be working for a law firm in St. Louis and I need something with luxury and not just only speed. I drove the M5 and it was sweet. I know these are 2 different cars, but I am looking for room, luxury, class, and style. Plus I plan on having a family here in about 2 years, and to have my kid rid in my evo isnt practicle.

So I think I am going to pursue on with the M5...thanks for the input..

I have tested M5, its nice and smooth !!! but the thing is ... i dont have that much money .

if you have enough income and wanna move to m5 well its a good choice not M3 because M5 feels smoother and more class ~

but only if you have enough money for it, like me .. I dont so I choose Evo8. but in this price range .. Evo8 beats almost everything else here in US ..

I am saving money for GT-R on 2007 too ... but dont think I can ever make it =)

my 2cp ...

Spend money dude. Sounds like you really like making bad financial decisions. For the price of an M5, why not keep the evo, buy a lotus elise, and for real needs of speed, buy the hayabusa as well.

The M5 is not all that...

i guess ill be the first to say go with the m5...nothing against evos i love mine..but ive been in the m5s before and they really are amazing cars..not to mention that the m5 would be a much more 'professional' car if thats the image you're going for. either way your gonna have a realllly nice car..so you cant really make a bad decision..

I like the lotus elise suggestion. That car is a panty dropper. Thats professional, right?

I didn't think the new m5 was out yet. Did you test drive the one with the V10?
