You can compare the numbers with clubdsm's list of AWD 1/4 mile times. The average numbers for a 13.38 pass thru the traps are a little higher at 101, however, the EVO has a twin scroll turbo. I would expect the EVO to be a little quicker down low. Plus it really doesn't make that much difference to me as 13.38 or 13.5 or 13.8 is still FAST stock.

There will be 12 second EVO's very soon.

I was told a long time ago that for every .1 on the bottom you gain, you pick up .1-.15 on the top end.

The better your 60ft, the better your ET with the same exact hp/trap.

I took a trip to the drag strip last night since the GM NHRA Sport Compact Nationals is in town here in Vegas. Around 500 drivers showed up, so it took about 1.5 hours between runs. Out of all the cars, a bright yellow EVO VIII stuck out.

I had to watch it down the track. Ended up posting a 14.1 @ 95 MPH. I know this track is brutal to most cars, especially when the elevation is above 2000 ft. I figure in Cali, you could probably sqeeze out a high 13 with good driving techniques. If you could get a 1.7 60 ft. a mid 13 might be possible.

I ran my GS-T down the track with M&H Slicks, and even launching at red line with no slip, I could only muster up a 1.957 60ft.

60' ---- 1.957
330' ---- 5.383
1/8 ---- 8.132
MPH ---- 89.18 MPH
1000' ---- 10.503

1/4 ---- 12.495
MPH ---- 113.32 MPH

FWD SUCK!!! You can tell by the MPH that I could be in the 11s with a AWD launch. EVO in the high 11s with similar mods.

I read every single word of this article from beginning to end.
I could be wrong but I'm pretty positive Scott O didn't get any 1/4 mile numbers better than 13.8 all night even tho he mentioned spanking a 350Z TWICE!
Also, he did not get 4.9 sec for 0-60 mph run. I recall it was 5.1-5.2 sec or so.
I haven't got mine in the mail and merely read it in Barnes and Noble. If you have the issue with you, please check again.
