What is everyone paying for EVO 9?
What is everyone paying for EVO 9?
I just want to see what the average price members are paying for a IX. I am considering in purchasing one, but would like to compare prices before taxes. Seems like everyone is getting an MR, but not listing the prices for a GSR.
The local dealership near me is going to offer me $500 over invoice which i think is in the neighborhood of $32,500 with SSL.
Anyone getting better?

I just paid the exact price for one this evening. It was listed for 35k on the sticker though. Then, on top of that, the dealer had "Appearance package 2900.00" The GSR w/ssl listed for over 38k total.
Well i figured that someone was going to say the search button, so i tried that out before listing this post, and all that seems to come up are discussions between the 8MR or the 9.
Funny that when you post a thread instead of getting people who will answer your question you will get an ignorant comment such as SEARCH.

but honestly, my comment was not meant to be *****y or ignorant. these threads are coming up alot and the point of the matter is that they serve no purpose. every dealer is differenet but all the members say the same thing. MSRP is ok if the car is brand new annd just came out. over msrp is never ok and you should not pay that. for invoice you can check out www.edmunds.com you can try to pay invoice for the IX but that would be very hard because the ccar is very new. OTD price does not apply so if someone tells you that they pay 3xxxx otd you can ignore that because every state is different and every person is differenet. IMHO, if you want an IX and you don't want to wait a few months than MSRP is ok. However, if you are paying MSRP make sure that you go to a good and honest dealer. i never had a problem paying MSRP for cars as long as i got what i paid for in terms of service etc..
last but not least, your best way of gauging what people are paying for their IX is to go to your local forum (northeast, midwest etc..). i am sure that people post there all the time whhen they get their new car and their info should be exactly what you want. for example, California is always known for having markups on new cars. also, iif you get your info from a local guy, his OTD price should give you a good indication of what you will pay bbecause the state tax, registration is all the same.
hope this made sense and sorry about my first comment, i sometimes get ffrustrated with issues like that because i see them 23,000 times a day. did not mean to be a bastard about it

almost forgot, don't worry if someone got a better deal than you did. when i bought my 03', i paid MSRP and everyone told me that i got screwed. however, i had a great experience with that dealer and they always help me out when i need them so if they made an extra grand on me than thats fine. i know many people who went to some shaddy dealers because they gavve them a good deal. let's just say that most of these transactions don't go as planned. just pay what you are comfortble with and enjoy your new car. i promise you that after a mile in your new car you won't even remember what you paid, you will be too busy enjoying this amazing car
I did not mean to attack you like that blonde, but as you were saying that i should go to a local region. Well in the state that i live in i think there is only one person with a 9. I understand that every dealership varies, but i was only comparing what people have been purchasing thier 9 for. Not simply what they have been quoted.

Excelent point indeed. I rather pay a little more and get great service for the time I own the car than save a grand and get hassled any time i need to get something warrentied.
On another note, I just purchased a 06 MR for MSRP (which ends up being right at 37 after shipping ect..)
If you want to know the MSRP of a certain model look on the mitsu website. it was just updated for the new 06's.
