Got the IX....
Got the IX....
I really did not intend on buying it. I actually went to the dealer for warranty work and the salesmen got me a good(relatively speaking of course) deal(32k w/SSL and my 03)...1500 out of pocket. My payment stays the exact same. Also, the deealer is taking off all of my mods and is giving them back to me in exchange for the stock pieces. Which brings me to my real question...after the paperwork is signed...can they give me my old car back if they feel something is not right with the car? (It is in excellent shape)

I agree with you. They are going to be doing alot of work for me...removal of:
cat back, injectors, cams, intake, full stereo system, gauges, and wheels.
All for 200$..saves me the trouble, I think it is worth it for them to do it.
The place was really eager to make the deal, I kept saying I would think it over, and he kept saying...."why, I am giving you all of your requests"..so I bought it. They were even willing to let me take both evos home so I could do all of the work.

"(32k w/SSL and my 03)" I don't get that part, you paid 32k for the car AND traded in your evo 03? or did your evo 03 have 32k miles with the SSL package (looks like the pictures you put up the new one doesn't have the SSL)

I traded in my old evo = got 22k, paid 32,500 for IX. Sorry for the confusion.
Thanks everyone, I am glad I did it too, the car is much different then my 8. The clutch/tranny is much smoother and the pedal engagement feels smoother. The shifter still has that notchiness(is that a word?) when shifting. The car feels slow... only b/c of the power of my previous evo...lol. I wold have to say that the MIVEC and added horsepower def. makes a difference(faster) over the 03 model year...stock for stock.
