Infinity Sound question..
no idea what the output is.. probobly not very much. you could power aftermarket speakers but there was just a thread recently about a guy who bought speakers and was really unhappy with the sound quality. go all out and buy an amp to replace to stocker you'll be much happier
At maximum volumen the stock Infinity SSL system is not really loud (even with the stock 10" sub). I have no idea what the power is in the amp, but I used to have a 3G Eclipse GT with the SSL Infinity system and the whole system worked at 6 ohms, so replacing speakers without replacing the stock amp was not a good idea, the sound won't be loud at all (without taking sound quality in consideration, that would be another minus).

I've been searching around for the SSL Infinity amp output as well. After a trip to google, I found this website:

Here is what they say:
315-Watt Infinity Sound System
The Lancer Evolution stands for more than pure driving performance. Audio performance can be supplied by an optional high-powered Infinity amplifier that delivers 45 watts through each of seven channels, for a total of 315 watts. Two 19-millimeter tweeters are mounted on the A-pillar, four 16-centimeter full range speakers are mounted on the front doors and rear shelf, and a 20-centimeter subwoofer is integrated in a 20-liter enclosure located on the right side of the trunk. The Infinity audio system is available only on the Lancer Evolution.
I am almost positive that this is peak power so I would guess the amp is probably putting out around 20-25 or so watts RMS.
