And about warraltons comment about losing whp from an intake, thats a negative. Sorry to burst your bubble.
What part's a negative? People can and have lost power from an intake due to messing up the MAF readings. It's a common problem that many have experienced. Most people think they gain power based off the butt dyno, which is worthless.

I have the K&N cai. and i think you just hear the turbo and stock bov alot more than before. But my cousin got an 03. and it seems at 3500 rpms there is an explosion when the boost hits. now in my car doesnt feel it all the way till 4500 rpms and it doesnt feel initally as stong. I want that explosion back so I will be going back to the stock air box.

I'm just relating to my personal experience. I have gained power from my weapon-r secret weapon intake. It is a really nice piece, check it out at weapon-r.com.

Try calling Call 1-888-220-8015 for assistance. Also, prepare to contact your credit card company for reversal.

I've never dealt with evo8.com but must go off topic to comment on a response to a post to your thread about an tunng with an intake.

Also, until you bother to get tuned, you're driving around with a crappy setup. One of the worst things you can do is purchase and install an Injen intake and drive around with it. The last guy I saw do that was running 14.0 @ 94 and 14.4 @ 90 at CApitol Raceway while I was running 12.8 @ 106 with no mods except an S-AFC. Needless to say, he was surprised. The Injen looked nice, but the car didn't perform. The only thing worse is to have an Injen Intake and a VTA BOV as the first two mods. Ouch.
First the comment abt the bandaid can't be 100% correct cause More air is always good (lets remember the basics of o2 plus fuel plus spark). We have no prob with mods that increase spark and we gladly increase octane but hellz no .. don't touch intakes. I agree that with our sensitive MAF makes it's tricky to tune but when tuned it's a whopping diff. Just search all the 11secs or less evos and 99.9% have aftermarket intakes. With all this said .. I HATE INTAKES!!! warr is right on saving your $$$ but I don't agree 100% with the reason given.

Secondly, I've seen some (one actually) lucky people drop in their new intake and OUILA.. it works fine. Granted that you have maybe a .001% chance of the same 'luck', but it does mean that the warr is not 100% correct.

Again, this is just my opinion (so let the flames begin)...

I've delt with Evo8, and love 'em! Great customer service, plenty of contacts, and damn good prices. Actually, I was just named their west coast representative!

As far as why recent communication and shipping is sucking, their track season is finishing up, and they've been at a lot of races recently. Give them time to catch up on orders, and you'll see why I'm proud to be sponsored by them.
