hks ssqv bov sound clip
Not another VTA bov thread. The only reason you should change your "bov", is because the 03-05 evo 8's have a gay plastic one. Yes it does leak everyone knows that.
When you change it out, any aftermarket "bov" will do, JUST AS LONG AS YOUR RECIRCULATE!!!!! YOU STILL DO GET SOME SOUND WITH RECIRCUALTE NOT AS LOUD AS VTA!!!!!! If sound is all you are looking for then an evo is not for you!!!!!! The evo is set on MAF and you will just cause problems down the road.
The Greddy, HKS, APS, etc.. are expensive just order a JDM valve for like 110 bucks and you will hold boost all day long.
I'm glad im getting an EVO IX (in oct. 25), it comes with the jdm unit alreay, no need to change it, holds boost like a champ.

My friend has this BOV on his RS and its sound so "fake" when i drive next to him, i hate it.
He also is so dumb he doesnt know about the VTA making your car run like crap and complains to me about his car being slower now. :shakes head:

So, who ever owns one of these BOVs is a tard and a ricer and has no clue to what they are lookin to do with their ever so precious Evo? IS this correct?
