my dilema - HKS RS Intake (free) or No

I did do a search.

I got a used HKS RS Intake for free. Now, as a free mod, should I do it or sell it for some dough for something else?

Mods on my car:
Bmc drop in air filter
JDM MR DV
Ecutek Flash
HKS Hi-Power 30th Anniversary Stainless Steel 3” Cat-back
Defi 52mm Boost Gauge

Greddy Couterweight Shiftknob
Apexi Turbo Timer
Vortex Generator
Carbign Craft Exhuast Shield

Basically I already have a good "racing" filter. Will I be rewarded nicely for all those hours putting in the HKS RS Intake? Can I still use my JDM MR diverter valve with the intake? Does the bov have to be VTA? (i noticed almost everyone that has this intake has a HKS SSQV, lol)

Also, I do know a tune is neccessary, so this is not really entirly "free".

Thanks in advance for all the comments.

how much is a retune for it? a free intake is great if the retune for it is relatively cheap to get the proper gains from it. though i *may* worry about my afr if your car is a bit lean with your tune, since from what i've read the intake leans you out.

i installed my HKS RS intake recently in an effort to experience the driving issues associated with adding an intake and i was very surprised to find that i had absolutely no problems. but i can't say whether or not i gained power as my butt dyno sucks and i'm too cheap to hit a dyno for nearly the cost of the part itself ... i hope it leaned me out a little since i'm running rich as a ****.

Yeah, the rest of your mods are good, so I would sell it to a sucker on here, then use the cash to complete your exhaust by buying a Megan downpipe and test pipe for nearly the same price. You will get nice gains and won't require a retune.

I say sell it since you're thinking about it. If you didn't want to sell it, you wouln't bring up the question.

I say sell it too. The gain on an intake is minimal and usually overrated.
