Cusco, ARC, Sparco....
For the love of God everything now a-day is the same. Everyone buys different parts for different reasons i understand but God Cusco makes a titanium strut tower bar and in a triangular form, and twenty billion others make the same shape and product. Except one will cost as much as $400 and thesame "titanium" from another company will cost in the low $200. How do you ell what to buy now-a-days ? I mean i know the name Cusco as sononimus with quality and being JDM but where do you get the information for all these other companies. I would like to make an informed approach to purchasing one but , all i know is Cusco. Anyone have anything good to say about any other product ?
fyi, you should see the cusco titainium strut tower. the quality is second to none!! the welds are meticulous and ridiculous looking, the reason your paying more for it is because it is made better!! arc makes great stuff too. not to metion sparco, if you think their harnesses are expensive you should check out takata's.....
you get what you pay for!! in most cases more is better....

I have the Cusco Ti tower brace on my IX MR. Its light, but product appearance is lacking IMO so it wont please everyone if for $400 you want some flawless eye candy. There are plenty of fabrication scrapes on it. Still, its light and does its job. I like the way it looks personally. I think ARC take more time in product finishing but you pay for it too.
The DC Ti brace looks well finished in the pics anyway.
Back to the Cusco. Welds are great. Highly doubt its stiffer than stock steel one though, Titanium is a whippy alloy but strong and light. Aluminum might be a better choice as its light and stiff and while not as strong is still plenty strong enough for a strut brace.
The brace has minimal flex when leaned on, the stock one did not.
I like the look of the Works aluminum brace, very AC Schnitzer like the one on the BMW M3 a few years back.
