Best advise Ever. It seems no matter how many cars that dealerships push out each month, they get very desperate as the month ends to get those couple extra sales.

what the finance manager at a mitsu dealership nearby told me was that if you have a cosigner they base it off of the better persons credit. so both your names on the title but the cosigners credit gets you the lender. and with your name on the title also it raises the apr a percent or two but payments monthly benefit both you and the cosigner

On my last car (WRX) I didn't get approved either because my credit history was too short. My score was high enough, its been over 700 for as long as I can remember. They said I needed a cosigner but when I was going to leave the lot they magically got me approved through a different loan place. I made the payments on that car for about a year and now I have no problems getting approved

My dealer told me they won't approve you for a car that is worth more than you make in one year.

I Sell Cars,,,#1 You Have No Highline Credit, Credit Cards Don't Help. If Anything They Hurt You...#2 Debt To Income And Also 620 Is Not Horrible But Not Good. 640 And Over Is Ok, 740 Is Really Good, And Over 800 Is Utopia............and Ur Credit Isn't Affected By It Being Pulled Unless U Went To Several Dealerships And Let Them All Pull Ur Credit...even Then It Is Not Affected That Much

I know you dont have bills, but are you sure you know how much the evo really costs. even if you got it for 30k out the door for 5-6 years, you will be paying ~$500/month to own the car $150-$200 of insurance, $150/month in gas(if you drive <12k/yr), $1000/year in tires, 4 oil changes in the first year for $275, tranny and diff oil change once/year for $200. you end up paying ~$1000/month just to drive it. this is assuming nothing breaks and you don't drive much. and it only gets worse the next year when you need a new clutch and brakes. clutches are $2000 installed with parts. i see you mod and take your VW to the strip. although modding is realitively cheap for us, you can getup to the thousands very quickly. especially when you have cc. maybe a used 04/05 with some light mods would suit you better. either way good luck.

I have 3 credit cards and i never missed any payment. 2 are almost paid off and 1 i still have 2g's on it..... Bascially they said i need to put 10k down and i can get it They said i needed histroy of car payment but i dont have any cause i got my car for free 02 GTi 1.8T. Oh and i had my credit cards for 2 years and never missed a payment. I thought that would be good enough
Transfer the balances of your CCs to just one credit card. Close the other two cards! The total amount avalible between the three cards is going to hurt you. Not how much you own. That is what is looked at by banks, etc. when you go to get a loan not how much you owe. I would keep the card you have had the longest open.

Example of what banks see: 3 cards with $10,000 limit each = $30,000 open
Not if you owe $4000.00, etc.
