Guys - I am trying to organize a TOUR of the Exedy US facilities

This event would consist of a meet of Evos up at the Exedy USA Office near Detroit , a tour of the facility, a technical demonstartion and talk about clutch technology, (they have some very expert clutch guru's there ) a chance to check out the Exedy Evo 8 up close and personal and some nice give aways

the date would be on November 18, 2005 Friday in the afternoon - Prob about 2 or 3 pm

At this point the event is in a planning stage

I have no idea of how many Evo owners are in the area and who has the ability to get off work early on a Friday

Those who may be interested in comming please post up on here and if we can get a decent amount of guys to attend we can have a delightful afternoon at Exedy !

 

I would like to go. The time is going to be tough for me. If there is any way of making it later so I would't have to close too early, that would be great.

Also maybe post on mievo.net, may get more of a local response.

 

Where exactly is the factory?
Maybe get some tuning done before, then the tour... sounds great!

The flashing thing I will be doing in that area is the night before

This has nothing to do with flashing - this is just fun and evos

Hopefully if we can muster a few guys we will be treated to a rare and special tour and a fun afternoon

Al, are you doing tunes and flashes in the Detroit area? or just at the dealer in Peoria, IL? I have a buddy that drove my car and wants a tune or flash for his evo.

The flashes are a seperate issue - there are some threads in the Dyno Flash vendor section on that

This post is just about the tour of Exedy and a Evo meet at their facility

I think we will need about 15 or so evos to commit to attending to facilitate this event so lets see if we can get a few more

 

I really wish this was different weekend. I would have driven out there in a heartbeat to get a flash. My company will be moving that weekend, and I'll be working!

 

So is this meet/tour on or not?
