yes, the EVO basically has no warranty. I was told today by the service manager at winner ford if you buy the car at a dealership they make you watch a video explaining the clutch, tranny, brakes are not covered under the warranty.

but if you dont believe me about the warranty just do a search you will find 90% of us have been screwed with a few lucky ones here and there who get help!

I bought mine at a "dealer" and didnt watch the movie and 90% of us mod the evo ! IMO

I'm just saying I'll never own another Mitsu EVER, and if I could do it all over I would of went American or Subaru!

Besides getting off topic when you go to Mitsubishi dealership they are looking for a sale no matter what so IMO give them a price they'll go back to their manager and be shindlers then you say no I want it lower then they go back blah blah blah, then just get up and leave then you've gottem by the grundel, Mitsu is hurting and needs every sale.

I'm riding out my warranty for a year incase of any messups and I havent gone into the dealership since I bought my 05 and it has 10,000 miles. Im thinking about making a trip even tho closest one is 50 miles to get that recall on the turbo coolant hose fixed on it.
God damn I need new break pads too goin with Hawks...
