Might be a stupid Newbie question. I searched a bit for an answer to this.
I like how the Jap MR wing looks, but I havent been able to figure out if its All unpainted CF or if the sides are painted black.

PS. I want to get whichever one for myself.

Unpainted CF. The sides on the US Evos are also made of C/F, but it's painted. You can strip it down, though.

people are still not sure though if the evo 9 wing is all carbon fiber, guess no one is daring enough to sand it down to find out.

 

the JDM is a PAINTED CF wing, Laakness's car took LOTS of work from a good body guy to get the CF showing on the stock wing

o jesus why? you can just paint the ends black, thats all it is!!!

 

i want to add that i think only the 03's have the all carbon wing. i dont think the 04+ evo have the carbon sides. so dont just do stripping the paint on ur wing unless u are certain.i have a 03 and i can actually see the weave through the paint in certain light.

I think you're reading too much into his "Jap" reference. I doubt he meant it as derogatory. Rude just remember to use JDM from now on and you'll avoid this and get better answers to your questions.
