Ok, went to San Diego Mitsubishi today and saw an Evo 8 for the first time, NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE! Wish I had the finances to buy one. Now get this, the sales guy told me the tires have to be changed every 10k miles, I find this hard to believe, I don't think the tires are going to wear out that fast. He also told me there is a limited amount being sold, thats why the mark up is so high. They had a $5k mark up and so did El Cajon Mitsubishi. I guess we can add them to the blacklist.

It really depends on the drivers driving style. If you drive it hard then more than likely the Tires will wear out. If you use the Evolution only for weekend purposes then it'll last longer.
All this bull**** the dealer is saying to lure you in. It's just ludacris.

Go to Ball Mitsu in National City. They have the lowest markup in San Diego at $3500. But you can talk em down from that if you're ready to buy. I don't think the markup craze will go away for another couple of months. And because of this I have the only Evo I've ever seen on the road so far
It's actually quite strange. Even in my Prowler although rare I would see one every once in awhile.

I bought my evo over there at el cajon, and yeah they had a nice markup, but i brought them the papers from ball mitsu and they dont like them, so they decided to cut off the 3k extra off the price. I got it out the door for 36,500. The silver one with the sun roof, its ****in awesome!
