Sort of new IX 750 under MSRP

Have a somewhat new Evo IX at the dealership. It has 40miles on it from switching dealerships. I basically only want a blue IX, and they are the only ones in AZ with it, and i think the region. I got offered 750 under MSRP, iam gonna try to get them to go down more, but not sure. Iam gonna use the has more miles then i really prefer to talk them down some more.. but whats the most i should take under MSRP? And how much OTD for the car?

UPDATE! 11-05-05: I got them to go down to invoice for it. I dont think i can expect to get better can i?

Don't give in. Hang in there. I got mine for $1k under MSRP and it was brand new (3 miles when I got it). I'd say wait if you can't get them to go at least $1k under MSRP.

40 miles is too much and the guys driving the thing could have hotrodded it from one end of the town to the other. I wouldn't get the car, but if you do, try to get the thing for as close to invoice as possible. At least $1,500 under msrp. and hang in there no matter what...I'm sure a couple of the dealers that frequent this board disguised as member will tell you otherwise.

HANG IN THERE. They NEED to sell and you don't NEED to buy from them.

Well see if i get an out of state Evo, and have it shipped to me, well i will need it to be worth it. Cause i can already get a brand new out of state evo for $750 under msrp from another dealer, but after shipping would only be 250 under msrp.

Invoice? I donno about that.. i really think the absolute best deal iam gonna get from them is maybe 500 over invoice.. The IX's are selling.. so they arnt exactly just sitting on the lot here in AZ. But who knows.

I just talked the a dealer in South Holland (South of Chicago) down $1500 on a IX MR with 4miles on it. Invoice can be done, you just have to be persistent... and possibly wait a month or two for all the hysteria subside.
