HEy so did anyone get custom plates for your evo.. I had to spend 42 dollars to get it customized.. COuld you have customized it at the dealership.. for 25 dollars instaed of the 44 i have to pay now.. It feels like i'm paying extra then i have to.. OH yea anyone Got any cool ideas... I wanted my Plate to read

I've got some ideas, but I don't plan on giving them to anyone else until one of them is permanently bolted to my bumper.

 

I got my plates months ago.(I planned ahead )
I registered my other car with my new plates.
Ya they look silly on a quattro but only for 3 more days.
I beat all the NYC guys to it.

I was thinking of Evo 8 but that was taken so i think i got mine to read something along those lines of evo8

 

TX is limited to 6 numbers/letters on a personalized license plate. I wish we were allowed 7 since most things I think of that I want are 7 characters.

 

I wanna get V8 ETR, but will that end up getting my car keyed by haterz?

i personally think vanity plates look stupid. You look like a jerk if you put something like FSTRNU....or BXTR BTR or anything like that..... plus it makes it that much easier for someone to remember your plate!

O well.......

 

That's why I went with something nice, like "EVO VIII".

 

Well I'm not getting anything like FSTRNU or BXTR BTR, I agree those are dumb. I first wanted DARWIN but someone in TX already has that one, so I chose DARWIN1 because it made me laugh, I could care less about what other drivers on the road think, it will make me smile every time I see the car and think "yeah Darwin won" hence, we finally got our Evo's here in the states... finally. BTW if anyone is in the Austin, TX area go hit Devil's Backbone over in San Marcos off of Ranch Road 12 for some hellish fun, this car was made for roads that evil.

hey out there, can anyone get ahold of a license plate from japan. since i live in michigan we dont need a front state license plate. the japanese plate would look too cool in someones rear view mirror. i use to have a plate from england on an old car of mine and people definently liked it.
