As far as I'm aware, dealerships DO NOT get to choose their allocations.
Actually, you're wrong. Only the very, very first one we were not able to pick colors. Every allocation since (we're expecting the 4th in a week), we've been able to pick colors and options. (except small spoiler).

This is in fact the sole reason I have two deposits down (luckily they don't deposit checks if you that is your form of deposit),
Umm, most do. We do... and everyone else I know does. You give a check to a dealership, they'll cash it. You want a refund, they'll cut you a check.

Well, hell if I'm wrong but the dealerships I have my deposits at said they *still* have no control over their allocations, at least for now. The same two have also told me they will not be depositing checks, but will be held for safekeeping.

But I'll be damned if we can choose our allocations, I'll have to call them back and see what's going on.

EDIT: BTW, you guys have to remember us east-coasters JUST received our first allocations today. So who knows, it might not be awhile until we can choose what we want anyway.
