Doesn't pulling the e-brake with an ACD create risk for malfunction?

maximized for tarmac, gravel and snow however snow can ruin your car....the salts just rust everything inside.

Never heard of that. I know that it disables, I believe, the rear diff, so that nothing can get damaged.
