Engine Dampener - does it actually have use or just bling?

I just ordered an Ingalls Stiffy last night. It looks to be of top quality and I know that they make some great suspension products like their camber correction kit for the Integra. I'll let you guys know how the Stiffy works out. I can't believe I just typed that sentence
